Telehealth and Regional Care

Serenity Skin was created to make comprehensive skin care more accessible for people across regional North Queensland. We welcome patients from north of Townsville, south to Mackay, west to Mount Isa and beyond.

We can already provide a significant amount of dermatological care via Telehealth. A Telehealth consultation allows Dr Caitlin to assess your skin, discuss your concerns and begin your treatment plan without an in-person visit.

We can assess conditions including:

• Acne

• Rosacea

• Pigmentation

• Melasma

• Hair Loss

• Many other medical skin conditions

Where appropriate, we can organise investigations, prescribe medications (including compounded treatments where appropriate) and arrange for skincare to be delivered to you.

An initial Telehealth consultation is approximately $200, as Aura imaging is not applicable to a video appointment. You may be asked to provide clear photographs before your consultation so Dr Caitlin can review your concerns in advance.

If dermoscopy, Aura imaging, procedures or laser treatment are required, you will then be booked for an in-person appointment at our Townsville clinic. If specialist dermatologist care is needed, we will explain the next steps and support the appropriate referral pathway.
